Why pay more for less in a hotel room? Beautiful, fully furnished 3 bedrooms, 3 ½ bath oceanfront condo with gorgeous ocean views can sleep up to 8 people. Each of the 3 bedrooms is ensuite and has its own private bath and there's a half bath in the living room for guests. Need to stay in touch? No worries. Paradise Vista offers FREE Wifi, and FREE calls to/from the U.S. and Canada!! Relax in one of the 5 living room recliners and feast your eyes on the magnificent 180-degree panoramic view of the aqua colored waters of the Bahamas. The well-appointed kitchen is equipped with a smooth surface electric stove, a built-in microwave oven, a double sink with a faucet that provides filtered drinking water and a side by side refrigerator with ice maker. There are plenty of dishes, flatware, pots, pans and cooking utensils for a gourmet meal fit for a king and queen. If you'd like an easier life, Paradise Vista provides some additional personal services for you prior to your arrival, such as, grocery and/or liquor shopping services. In addition, catering and daily/weekly cleaning services can also be provided with 5-day advance requests. These personal services are offered at an additional cost. The washer and dryer are located in the unit's utility room for your convenience, as well as additional linens and towels and iron and ironing board. There are inflatables, beach umbrellas, chairs and mats, as well as snorkeling gear and children's sand toys for your use. We just ask that you wash all the sand off all items used outside and return them back to one of the storage bins in the foyer or utility room.
Lay back and relax in the outdoor hammock or on the furnished wrap around patio. Or grill steaks/burgers on the gas-powered bar-b-que grill and serve your meals on one of the two patio tables. The master bedroom also has a private patio perfect for that morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine. Take a dip in the pool or walk a few yards to the beach and enjoy the amazingly clear Bahamian waters.
Be sure to take in all the sights and sounds of beautiful Grand Bahama from West End to East End. There are plenty of things to do and see during the day and in the evening. Paradise Vista is located on a somewhat secluded beach area that is about a 5-minute drive from downtown, 2 minutes from Burger King and Pollo Tropical, 5 minutes from KFC and Wendy's,10 minutes from a local grocery store (Solomon’s) and 10 minutes from the airport. There are numerous restaurants, bars, and shops 15 minutes to the east in Port Lucaya marketplace. Additional boutique and straw market shopping, underwater cave explorations, Bonefishing adventures, Snorkeling and Scuba Diving, and UNEXSO Dolphin Adventures are all within minutes of your condo. To truly get the most from your Bahamas vacation, a rental car is highly recommended. However, if you decide not to try driving on the left, there are a number of taxi drivers that we can recommend to accommodate your island adventure transportation needs. Summary: We had a great time at Edwina’s! The location and views cannot be beat. The condo was spacious, clean, and well equipped with all your beach supplies. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. The sunset views were stunning and I loved hearing the waves and smelling the ocean air while I slept!

Summary: We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. The location was amazing. Condo was the perfect size for 6 adults, just as advertised. There are 2 bars/restaurants within walking distance. There are also restaurants and bars at Lucaya Straw Market. We also went to the local fish fry on Wednesday evening which was very fun. We did not rent a car. We had 3 taxi drivers that we used and it worked out just fine.

Summary: We were here for a wedding and had a wonderful time and this home and location worked perfectly as a central hub from where we went to various venues. All of the extra-curricular activities were nearby as well. A beautiful location for the few moments we just wanted to chill and relax. Our hostess was wonderful and communications were easy and flawless. Would recommend whole-heartedly.

Summary: As advertised. Perfect, beautiful, quiet location, 10 to 15 min drive to any/all popular activities. Shopped at NEW Sawyers very close to Lucaya market.....very expensive, bring whatever you can (sunscreen, meat, OTC meds, etc...you'll pay $20 for aerosol sunscreen). All cooking requirements are in the home, along with unlimited towels, lots of trash bags, etc. Ask about snorkeling gear, not sure how much is on property. Definitely would rent again!

Summary: Superb location! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The adjacent beach is wonderful and semi private (only residents and guests of the condos go there). The condo was spacious with plenty of room for my family of 6 (all adults). Every bedroom having its own bathroom was a plus. Location is perfect and far enough away from the busy tourist sites. We always rent a car when we stay here because of the secluded spot. Not a lot close by, but that's why we stay here, and we enjoy the privacy. I highly recommend this location.

Summary: This condo worked great for three friends reconnecting on a trip to the Bahamas. Each had their own bedroom and ensuite bath. Edwina was very responsive and answered all of our questions promptly. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook and as a bonus there were lots of condiments and spices available to use. FYI, the public water was not potable due to problems caused by hurricane Dorian, so pick up a few gallons at the grocery store on the way to the condo. The island is still recovering from this devastating hurricane. The only problem we had was that a few people came to do things in the condo during our stay. First, a women came to recover some money left by a previous tenant and I was not notified in advance. Second, a maintenance crew came to work on one of the sliding doors while we were packing up to leave. We were in the condo on both occasions, but I would have felt uncomfortable if they came while we were out. In the future, I think it would have been better to schedule these visits after we checked out. Great location and friendly host. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit GBI.
